OASIS has received a request to open a discussion list on a proposal to form a new project to a develop a successor to the text password. As proposed, the expanded password system would enable the use of images as well as characters, based upon users' autobiographic/episodic memories.

The purpose of the discussion list is to facilitate an open dialogue on the merits of the proposed project and gauge interest in participation.
