I look forward to our next meeting (hopefully attendance is full house) to review the response for public review comments and to submit the final draft specification (possibly). I suggest that we defer the specification of operations such as send, checkin, checkout, join, etc., to version 1.1 or 2.0. I believe Deirdre and Laura are agreeable with this suggestion.

Over the last few weeks I was busy with refactoring of Java classes in java.net OpenICOM (which is the source for UML diagrams in the specification). I removed the dependencies on the JPA runtime (replaced the dependencies on abstract super classes such as AbstractEntity, AbstractIdentifiable, AbstractNonIdentifiable, etc., and persistency aspects in the methods by byte code weaving). Now the classes in http://java.net/projects/open-icom/sources/source-code-repository/show/src/icom-bean/icom?rev=174 are purely POJO and portable to any JPA runtime. 

We can provide these POJO classes as part of the specification package. This brings to another discussion, whether to include the RDF ontology in the final specification package.
