Subject: Minutes of ICOM TC Meeting on 11 July 2012
Minutes 1. New conference call number.There were some difficulties with the new call number, but they were resolved.

2. Roll Call Ken Baclawski, Eric Chan, Laura Dragan, Peter Yim3. Report by Ken Baclawski on public review of committee specification draft.

The second document shows the changes between Draft 3 and Draft 4. The third file contains the XSD schemas for this draft.
The TC unanimously approved submission of the documents listed above for public review.

Both were validated using online validation sites.
The generated ontologies are not yet ready to be submitted for public review.
The TC made some suggestions for modifying the ontologies, including: adding reifications of the classes and property definitions, and modularizing the ontologies so that each namespace has its own ontology. Disjointness conditions will also be added. The ontologies will be uploaded to the Open Ontology Repository (OOR) sandbox at http://sandbox.oor.net to check that they are compatible with OOR.
Eric moved and Ken seconded that the TC publish the JPA classes in Java.net. The motion passed unanimously.
The next meeting will be on 18 July 2012 from 8:30am to 9:30am PDT. The TC will continue discussion of the generated ontologies as well as other generated artifacts during this meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:36am PDT.
