3. Discussion of Draft 5. We need to review the draft submission and formally vote to approve it for the process to go forward.

4. Discussion of the Ontolog Forum meeting on ontology-based standards on October 25.

5. Reconsideration of icom_meta:ClassDefinition name change.

6. Discussion of bidirectional relationships and disjointness constraints.

7. If there is time, plan for ICOM v2 to define social network model. (see the TC Charter http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/icom/charter.php)

8. As time allows, continue discussion of the goals of the TC and plans for dissemination.

Minutes

1. Roll Call:

2. [Ken] Minutes of the meeting on October 3.

Ken moved and Eric seconded that the minutes be approved. The motion passed unanimously.

Peter moved and Ken seconded that the agenda be modified to include two new items, numbered 3 and 5 below. The motion passed unanimously.

3. Announcement. Our WISE 2012 submission was accepted! Laura has agreed to represent the authors at the WISE 2012 workshop. Many thanks to Stefan Becker for his support.

4. (formerly agenda item 3) Discussion of Draft 5. We need to review the draft submission and formally vote to approve it for the process to go forward. The changes were discussed at some length. Some additional minor adjustments were suggested and accepted as friendly amendments.

Eric moved and Ken seconded that Draft 5 be formally approved using an OASIS ballot rather than in the minutes. Ken will create the ballot as soon as the minor adjustments to the Draft have been posted. The wording of the ballot will be chosen to conform to the OASIS format for such The motion passed unanimously.

5. Ontolog Forum Meeting. Peter gave the details about the upcoming Ontolog Forum meeting on October 25. The meeting will feature ICOM and the work of the TC, so all of the TC members are cordially invited to attend. The meeting on October 25 is the first of two sessions in a mini-series on ontologies and standards. The second meeting will be on November 8 and will feature the work of the OMG ontology group.

There was a discussion about generating XSLT transformers from a standard. Ken agreed that this was a useful topic and will include it in the presentation.

Peter asked that the ICOM ontology be posted in the OOR sandbox. Ken agreed to do this.

6. (formerly 4) Reconsideration of icom_meta:ClassDefinition name change.

This was discussed on the mailing list. Eric moved and Ken seconded that the name change be reconfirmed. The motion passed unanimously.
