Dee, this is why I've never understood accounting: an increase of 3k is actually a decrease.

So... let me see if I understand. We set aside 5k for Jane. We set aside 6k for speaker, staff and travel for a total of 11k.
8k was actually spent. Of that 8k, how much was for Jane's time and expenses? Is the additional 3k to make Jane's 5k good? Or is it something else? Are there unpaid expenses pending?

We had originally set aside 5K for Jane’s time to coordinate all the content and speakers for the European Identity Conference in the 2013 Spending Plan but we used 8K for speaker, staff and StC travel instead of 6K , so we are actually decreasing the amount we has set aside in the spending plan. You may recall that we allocated 11K to support this event.
