The OMG Healthcare DTF is pleased to announce an
out-of-cycle meeting in collaboration with the HL7
Services Specification Project. This meeting will take place in Salt Lake City, UT on April 5th and 6th, 2005. The
meeting is being hosted by the Veterans Health
Administration.
The purpose of the meeting is to finalize our selection of
the services to be specified, explore the
relationship between the two working groups, complete pre-work on the format of the services specification
boilerplate, and to begin work on the services
selected. It is also an opportunity to cross-communicate between the HL7 and OMG communities.
A tentative agenda for the meeting is attached. Basic

Special Event: Clyde Miller, one of the Salt Lake
City VA folks, is past World-Champion Dutch Oven
chef, and has graciously agreed to cook a dinner to welcome the HL7 and OMG communities to Salt Lake and the VA.
(There will be a nominal fee to cover food
expenses for those interested in participating)
