Nomination for Co-Chair of OASIS KMIP Technical Committee

I hereby nominate Marcus Streets as candidate for co-chair of the OASIS KMIP TC.  As Security Standards Architect Marcus at Thales (nCipher) for the past 12 years Marcus has provided development, architecture and project management for Thales.  During this time he has worked on security and key management products including managing over 50 of them through the FIPS and Common Criteria processes.

 

Marcus has been involved in KMIP since its inception, and with his knowledge of key management and his project management skills will help deliver a standard in a timely fashion by setting appropriate expectations and achievable objectives based on the TC's established charter.

 

I have spoken to Marcus and he agrees there is a need for co-chairs and this nomination is for a co-chair position.
