hi -

in our KMIP TC call this week, we will determine if we are ready to request OASIS admin to initiate the second public review for the KMIP V1.1 docs. The following is the motion that we would vote on to request public review (same as for the first public review):

"Does the TC approve the release of KMIP Specification, Profiles, Usage Guide and Test Cases documents version <1.1> contained in the ZIP file at as Committee Specification Drafts and approve these drafts for release for public review (duration to be determined by TC admin)?" with the proviso that the URL and the version can be updated once the docs have been uploaded to Kavi?"

Current versions of all 4 documents have been uploaded to the "Standards" folder for KMIP documents.

We will also vote on the attribute index proposal that Tim has uploaded to the "proposals" folder. This will be a voice vote, as voted at our last meeting; if approved, a second proviso will be added to the above motion, such as "and with the proviso that the changes contained in the Attribute Index proposal are incorporated in the documents prior to submission to OASIS administration".

We will also consider Gordon's proposal for establishing an interop program with SNIA.
