Subject: Re: [kmip] KMIP plans for (early) 2013

Sounds great Bob look forward to it. Given how much of a foundation piece it is maybe we could explore a dedicated piece, especially if it looks at an overall picture of SaaS-enablement etc.

Kind regards, Neil.

Hi Neil –

Always glad of additional KMIP visibility.

I’ll raise the question about contribution to the next TRANSFORM in today’s KMIP TC call. I suspect it’s something we’ll want to discuss at the face-to-face, which probably means something for a later version of TRANSFORM rather than the next one.

Regards,

Bob

thanks folks, it is a really great article, and I`d be keen on further KMIP coverage if any one is interested.

the headline theme for the next issue is "Globalizing the G-Cloud", looking at how the UK's Government Cloud program might be replicated to other nations.

also we are now launching a new OASIS TC in this area too 'PACR', so we can formally standarize these practices into open standards, so participation welcome there too.

Neil.

-          Finally, Neil McEvoy has just published the newest edition of his e-magazine TRANSFORM (http://EHealth-Cloud.info), including an article based on the materials for the RSA Conference session. Many thanks to all those who helped in creating this article – including the work by everyone who helped with the cloud use cases and the KMIP webinars, which formed the basis of the deployment models discussed in the article.

The URL for is http://cloudbestpractices.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/transform-203.pdf - pages 8-12 for the article from Bob.

Thanks,
Tim.
