        I have uploaded a revived version of the PKCS#11 spec.  It includes the Interface field as suggested by Mark, plus some better error handling.  

Note that the PKCS#11 v3.0 text on Interfaces is gibberish, but there is a recently updated proposal to fix it by Daniel Minder.  Basically, you get an array of function pointers based on the Interface name provided as a string.
