LegalXML-SC - nomination

Dear LegalDocML and LegalRuleML members,

LegalXML-SC is now in the election time. LegalXML-SC is composed by the representative of each TC (e.g., LegalDocML, LegalRuleML, ECF, LegalCiteM, etc.) and from elected members ("at-large seats"). Example: I am a member of LegalXML-SC appointed by LegalDocML TC.

LegalXML-SC participation implies to attend monthly to the Steering Committee meeting, to decide a common strategy for supporting the TCs, to monitoring the progresses of the TCs, to remove obstacles, to define dissemination plan, to encourage cooperation among TCs, to decide on the budget.

There are three "at-large seats" eligible for nomination. Nowadays there is only one nomination.

Nominations for the "at-large seats" start on September 1 and will close on 15 September and it should be sent by email to
sc-election@oasis-open-open.org

Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to both sc-election@oasis-open.org and emergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.org 

Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.

If there are more than three nominations voting will take place 16-30 September via a closed ballot.

Otherwise, the candidates are automatically selected.
