Attached is presentation that I gave at the Open Legal Standards Initiative meeting in New York. Enclosed also are my recommendations to the chair of this effort Kelly Ray worked with me on trying to open up the legislative area. My short observations on the meeting is that this is a very early stage attempt to coordinate legal standards that go well beyond those markup. They may be supported by markup but are not markup driven. I look at many of the standards along lines of the efiling process standards that we used as input to our requirements for ECF 3.0. Have I simply forgotten the resolution of that matter, or has no action been taken? This will be my last quarterly report.
