Subject: RE: [legalxml-sc] Discrepancies in membership lists, voting rights and revenues

That it's a good catch Patrick. Thank you when your team for your diligent
involvement. As you can see from this interchange both OASIS management and
the LegalXML member section leadership are trying to what to absolutely
correct to represent the member section constituency.

and revenues

John,

I believe that Scott and Dee have been working diligently to help make sure
the LegalXML MS roster is corrected and accurately reflects the current
voting
rules of this MS.

I will note a slight difference in descriptions appearing on this email list
of who is eligible to be a Member Section Qualified Elector. The current
LegalXML MS RoP states:
"Three additional 'at large' steering committee members shall be
elected by the set of all members of all OASIS LegalXML Technical Committees
who are also OASIS LegalXML Member Section members (those who have requested
OASIS LegalXML Member Section membership upon joining or renewing their
OASIS
membership) or employees of such members."

Note that the RoP designation of who can vote in a LegalXML MS vote includes
those who are "Members" of LegalXML TCs, not just those who are "Voting
Members" of LegalXML TCs (in addition to being qualified due to the OASIS
Individual/Organizational Member allocating a portion of their membership
funds to the MS).

Dee,
Please be sure that those listed as a "Voting Member" of the LegalXML MS
Roster (Member Section Qualified Elector) includes the qualified "TC
Members"
not just qualified "TC Voting Members".
