Subject: Payment Message in RecordFiling operation

There are two parameters for the ReviewFiling
operation: (1) CoreFilingMessage, and (2) PaymentMessage (see ECF 4 C.2.1). The
RecordFiling operation also has only two parameters: (1)
RecordDocketingMessage, and (2) CoreFilingMessage (see ECF-4.0-WebServicesProfile-Definitions.wsdl).
Why is the PaymentMessage, which is provided in
ReviewFiling, not also a parameter to RecordFiling? Case Management Systems (CMS) will typically want to
know about payments for docketing and financial functions. |
