I am staying at the Royal St Charles for $125 for Wednesday and Thursday, which is less than a block away from the Marriott and easy to walk. http://www.royalsaintcharleshotel.com/indexhigh.html  I hope it is ok.

 

However, now I am a little confused.  The OASIS pages say the Face to Face is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Are we just going to meet the TC Thursday and Friday.  I guess I need a review of the days including when the SC will meet.

April 1 is the last day for early and reduced rate registration for the New Orleans symposium - and for the Marriott special hotel block.

 

When I registered, I was charged $30 per day for attendance at our TC meeting.  This appears to be a mandatory daily charge to offset the costs of rooms, breaks, and lunch.

 

It is my understanding that you do not need to register for the symposium in order to attend the face to face meeting on Thursday and Friday, April 28^th and 29^th.

 

The OASIS rate for the Marriott is $79 per night.  The hotel phone number for reservations is 504-581-1000.
