Location for Louisville meeting

ECF TC:

I have arranged space for our meeting March 17-18, 2008 in the Jefferson County Judicial Center located at 700 W Jefferson St. Louisville, KY. 40202. We will be meeting in the training room on the first floor. Thanks go to Larry Bugg, from the KY Courts and Julie Hayes, the Jefferson County Court Administrator, for agreeing to host us.

For hotel reservations, your best options are probably the Hyatt Regency (320 W Jefferson, $157/night) or the Marriot (280 W Jefferson) which are just a few blocks away and right next to 4^th Street Live, the hub of Louisville night life. A slightly less expensive option is the Galt House (140 Fourth Ave, $122/night) and there are more reasonable rates closer to the airport.

If you come in early Sunday, you might want to check out the following sites:

- The Louisville Slugger museum and factory (walking distance, closes at 5PM, remember to put your bats in checked luggage on your return!),

- The Muhammed Ali Center (walking distance, closes at 5PM)

- The Frazier International History Museum (walking distance, closes at 5PM)

- The Kentucky Derby Museum (5 miles away at Churchill Downs, closes at 5PM)
