Subject: RE: [members] Electronic Court Filing Version 4.01 Committee Specification 01 approved
Chet, I just submitted the request again. Please give this a high priority. Thanks, Jim Cabral Helping our clients make a difference in the lives of the people they serve. Hi Jim, Actually, looking back over the tickets, it looks like I goofed. I never instituted the Special Majority Vote to approve the Committee Specification itself. I published on your ballot asking for the SMV. Oh well. The CS01 is published now so no sense doing that. If you will just file a new COS ballot request for me at https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tc-admin-requests/candidate-oasis-standard-ballot-request
we'll go forward from here. The CS01 is at http://docs.oasis-open.org/legalxml-courtfiling/specs/ecf/v4.01/ecf-v4.01-spec/cs01/ecf-v4.01-spec-cs01.html Happy New Year - /chet On Tue, Jan 8, 2013 at 12:38 PM, James E Cabral <jcabral@mtgmc.com> wrote: Chet, I believe we are still waiting on a Special Majority Vote of the ECTF TC to submit the 4.01 specification

You are very welcome. We came across a few broken links & such in the content while prepping it. I will send a list to the TC so that you have them for next time you work on the
document. /chet On Tue, Dec 18, 2012 at 11:06 PM, James E Cabral <jcabral@mtgmc.com> wrote: Thanks Chet! Jim Cabral

Hello Jean-Marie, Thank you for this observation. Please feel free to share it with the Technical Committee using the steps for commenting listed at
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/index.php?wg_abbrev=legalxml-courtfiling At OASIS, we leave the choice of tools to use to each of the Technical Committees. We believe in just-enough process to ensure that a democratic process is followed and that there
is transparency and accountability into all that a TC does. We try to impose no more than that on our members, grateful as we are for the work they choose to do here. Many of our TCs choose to work with MS Office products and many choose Open Office and its variants. The last time I did a count, the ratio was about 60/40. I don't think anyone
considers .odt inferior. Rather, I expect that most TCs choose MS Office out of habit, pure and simple. As a user of LibreOffice, I find, as you note, that the tools are, for the most part, interchangeable. Again, thank you and thanks for your interest in the work of the TC. And my best holiday wishes to you and yours. /chet On Tue, Dec 18, 2012 at 5:02 PM, Jean-Marie Gouarné <jean.marie.gouarne@online.fr> wrote: Hello,
