For ease of reference, here are the three high level structural models of a contract which may come up in discussion in today's teleconf: Model 1 - Harrop/Meyer Preliminary Report ----------------------------------------- US users: instrument( h*, extra?, p*, background?, operative, (signatures | extras)* ) UK/ANZ users: instrument( h*, extra?, datearea, parties, background?, operative, (signatures | extras)* ) <extras> has an attribute which says whether these are ( schedules | attachments | annexures | appendices | exhibits) Model 2 - McClure 'Minority' Report ----------------------------------------- Something like: legal:instrument( h?, div*, legal:recitals, legal:body, legal:signature, div*) Model 3 - historical New Orleans abstract container ---------------------------------------------------- instrument (h*, struct*) struct( nr?, h?, p*, (section* | struct* | instrument*) ) - actual element name for "struct" to be agreed - struct has an @class to say its Parties, Recitals etc cheers, Jason
