FW: Legislative TC: Legislative Vocabulary

This is a follow up to the discussion of subject arrangement of legislation.

 

The subject terms for bills on Thomas http://thomas.loc.gov are based on the Legislative Indexing Vocabulary (LIV). This thesaurus was developed at CRS to classify public policy subject matter.  The LIV is publically available and can be searched. It is linked from the Bill Summary and Status search page.
