LegalXML-Legislative 1-day Face-To-Face Workshop II
November 19, 2004 – TBA – Washington, DC
Collocated (or Local to) XML 2004 Conference & Exposition OASIS
LegalXML invites you to join the current members of the Legislative Documents
Technical Committee for the second in a series of periodic face-to-face working
sessions. This meeting is open to all Originators, Distributors and Consumers
of Legislative and Regulatory Information! In this second
workshop, we will focus on the Bibliographic Data needs of the Legislative and
Regulatory Community. This will build off the prior work of the Legislative Documents Technical Committee on the W3C Recognized
Dublin Core Meta Data. This workshop will deepen our understanding of the Dublin Core and improve our proposed
usage guidelines. If will further identify where the communities needs are not
covered by the Dublin Core and surface potential approaches for covering them. In this session, we will also
review and augment these needs in light of input gained from our first
legislative face-to-face. We will also capture additional goals not identified
in the first face-to-face and prepare them for review for placement in the
Deliverable Roadmap. The format of the workshop is designed to engage all
the participants in both in the creation of the guidelines and testing them
against documents brought in by the participants. Please join us in this
next step. For further information, please
