This document contains the Rules of Procedure (ROP) adopted by the LegalXML
Member Section on May 9, 2007. The ROP shall become official only by being
approved by the OASIS Board of Directors. Pending that approval, affiliated
technical committee chairs are to direct any questions or concerns to the
Chair of the Steering Committee so they can be addressed and resolved in
time for submission of the ROP to the OASIS Board for its consideration.

Document Description:
These are the Rules of Procedure (ROP) written to comply with the OASIS
Board-approved template for such rules. The template was edited and amended
to reflect the nature and needs of the LegalXML Member Section and then was
approved by consensus at the May 9, 2007, meeting of the Steering
Committee.
