TC ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MEETINGS

The OASIS XSLT/XPath Conformance Technical Committee is putting out an
appeal for added membership to bolster the efforts of the existing
committee
members.  Please consider your company's possible contribution to the

The OASIS eXtensible Access Control Markup Language TC will hold its
next face to face 22-24 Apr in Milan, Italy.

The OASIS Business Transaction TC will hold its next face to face
meeting 16-17 May in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. For more information,

An OASIS positioning paper, "UBL and Industry XML Standards," is now

The OASIS UBL TC will hold its next meeting on 3-7 June in Minneapolis,
Minnesota and it will be hosted by ASC X12. Further details and
registration for the meeting will be arranged by the X12 secretariat,
DISA, and will be announced in a future message to the ubl-comment list.

The OASIS CIQ TC will hold its next meeting via teleconference on 26

The OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC announces the revision of the
Message Service Specification to version 2.0 Revision C has been
completed. The specification has received formal approval to become a
Technical Committee specification.
The Specification has been submitted to become an OASIS standard.

The OASIS Election and Voter Services TC has tentatively scheduled its
next meeting for 26 April.

The OASIS Security Services TC (SSTC) announces a new email distribution
list, saml-dev@lists.oasis-open.org, expressly for discussion amongst
SAML developers is now available. Before sending messages to the

"subscribe" as the body of the message.

CONSORTIUM ANNOUNCEMENTS

CECID Launches Test Site of OASIS ebXML V2 Registry Reference
Implementation

On 8 April, 2002, The Center for E-Commerce Infrastructure Development
(CECID), Department of Computer
Science Information Systems and The University of Hong Kong (HKU)
announced the immediate availability of an OASIS ebXML
V2 Registry. This implementation of the OASIS ebXML V2
Registry/Repository (ebXMLRR) standard fully implements all functions of
the standard and is currently in its beta release version. CECID
encourages developers interested in developing ebXML related products
and services to use this implementation for testing purposes. The HKU
ebXML Registry is available at

client software.

ACORD Brings Insurance Industry to OASIS UBL Liaisons

On 19 April, ACORD, the insurance industry standards organization,
became the latest industry group to appoint a representative to the
OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) Technical Committee. ACORD joins
liaisons from a broad group of industry standards organizations in the
subcommittee that provides guidance to UBL, the initiative to define
standard XML business forms for electronic commerce.

Technical Advisory Board

The Consortium is forming the OASIS Technical Advisory Board, an elected
group of industry experts who will provide input to the OASIS Board of
