OASIS News 23 December 2002 Welcome to OASIS News, a weekly update of announcements, accomplishments and activities for the XML interoperability consortium. --------------------------------------------------------- OASIS Members to Develop Web Services Standard for Translation OASIS members have formed a technical committee to develop standards to automate the translation and localization process as a Web service. The OASIS Translation Web Services Technical Committee joins another localization effort at OASIS--one that works to develop an XML Localization Interchange File Format (XLIFF).
