[OASIS members] XCBF Committee Specification - Public Review

OASIS members and XML developers:

The OASIS XML Common Biometric Format (XCBF) Technical Committee
has voted unanimously to approve its XCBF 1.0 document as an OASIS
Committee Specification.

The XCBF TC has also voted to begin the process of moving the XCBF
1.0 Committee Specification towards becoming an OASIS Standard by
initiating the required 30 day public review period of the completed
work, in accordance with "Section 2 Standards Process" of the OASIS
Technical Committee Process document as revised September 16, 2002
(at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.shtml#approval_spec).

The public review period extends from

      Tuesday, January 28, 2003, until
      Friday, February 28, 2003 (inclusive).

Comments are welcome from all interested parties and may be submitted
to the XCBF comment list:
