OASIS to Sponsor SPML Demo at Catalyst

The first public demonstration of the OASIS Service Provisioning Markup
Language Specification (SPML) v1.0 will be held on 9 July 2003 at the
Catalyst Conference in San Francisco. Members of the OASIS Provisioning
Services Technical Committee (PSTC) will come together to prove the
stability of the new specification and demonstrate interoperability between
SPML-conformant security software products.

The OASIS Materials ML TC is Formed

A Call for Participation has been issued for the OASIS Materials Markup
Language TC (MML TC), which has been chartered to develop an XML-based
standard markup language for the
exchange of all types of materials technical information, while retaining
its high quality
and integrity despite its complexity. Interested participants should join by
2 September 2003 in order to contribute to the first meeting, which is
scheduled for 17 September at 10:00 am ET.
