OASIS Symposium: "Reliable Infrastructures for XML" Is Announced

Make plans now to attend the OASIS Symposium on Reliable Infrastructures
for XML on 26-27 April 2004 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The
Symposium will feature presentations from experts on XML-based messaging
and networking standards in a two-day program developed by the OASIS
Technical Advisory Board. The week will also include an OASIS Plenary,
Annual General Meeting, Reception, and individual Technical Committee
meetings. Hotel space is limited, and the Symposium is open to the
public. OASIS members are advised to register early.

Join UDDI Promotion Discussion List

A discussion list has been created to explore the possible formation of
one or more OASIS Technical Committees related to the promotion of UDDI.
The list will close 21 April.

OASIS Team Talks

22-23 Jan--Pim van der Eijk will present "Web Services Standards for
Business and Enterprise Integration" at COMDEX Scandinavia in Göteborg,
Sweden. OASIS members receive 20% discount.

26-28 Jan--Dale Waldt will present "EDI, Web Services, and ebXML" at XML
for Financial Services, New York City. OASIS members receive 300 USD
discount, contact dee.schur@oasis-open.org.

2-6 Feb--Jamie Clark will participate in the panel discussion, "The Role
of Standards and Certification – just what are standards, and why are
they important to your business?" at the Open Group conference, San
Diego, California.
