Subject: Public Review of Open Document v1.0 2nd Edition
TO: OASIS Members, public announce lists The OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC recently has approved the following specification as a Committee Draft and approved the package for public review. OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) v1.0 2nd Edition The public review starts today, 16 June 2006, and ends 1 July 2006. This specification was approved as an OASIS Standard on 1 May 2005; the 15-day review is limited in scope to changes made since publication, as indicated in the change log. Additionally, non-normative ODT and PDF versions are supplied that highlight the changes with a yellow background color, and where possible, also contain change tracking information. This is an open invitation to comment. We strongly encourage feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of OASIS work. Comments may be submitted to the TC by any person, by a web-form that can be reached either on that page, via the button marked "Send A Comment" at the top of that page, or directly at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/form.php?wg_abbrev=office. Submitted comments (for this work as well as other works of that TC) are publicly archived and can be viewed at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/. All comments submitted to OASIS are subject to the OASIS Feedback License, which ensures that the feedback you provide carries the same obligations at least as the obligations of the TC members.
