(c) The TC certifies that all schema and XML instances included in the specification, whether by inclusion or reference,
including fragments of such, are well formed, and that all expressions are valid.

(d) A clear English-language summary of the specification:
WS-Context defines a generic context model for Web Services, providing support for session management. WS-Context
ensures that multiple Web services deployed in a variety of execution environments behave as if they are deployed in a
single, consistent environment. For example, an organization's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) may require security
information, conversational session information, database and file handles and process IDs, among other services, to be
shared across multiple execution environments built on different platforms. In this situation, WS-Context helps to make
certain that the Java, .NET and any other Web services in the enterprise all behave similarly and as expected at
runtime.

(e) A statement regarding the relationship of this specification to similar work of other OASIS TCs or other standards
developing organizations:
There is no similar work to this specification within OASIS or other Web Services standards organisations.

(f) The following members certify that they are successfully using WS-Context:

(1) Werner Enterprises (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-caf/email/archives/200611/msg00006.html)

(2) Red Hat (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-caf/email/archives/200611/msg00007.html)

(3) IONA Technologies (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-caf/email/archives/200611/msg00008.html)

(g) There have been 3 public reviews of WS-Context. The announcement for the first review can be found at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/200411/msg00003.html The announcement for the second review can be
found at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/200507/msg00005.html. The last one occurred on 30th November
2005 and ended on 15th December 2005 and the announcement can be found at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/200511/msg00001.html

Comments can be found at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-caf-comment/200512/threads.html and have been dealt
with by the committee. As can be seen in http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-caf-comment/200512/msg00001.html the
comments raised were deemed to have either already been addressed by previous votes conducted by the technical committee
or as irrelevant to the goals of this specification.

(h) The ballot of the technical committee to progress WS-Context to Committee Specification can be found here
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=925

(i) This is the first attempt at progressing to an OASIS standard.

(j) The comments archive for the WS-CAF technical committee can be found at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-caf-comment/

(k) It was approved by unanimous vote.
