  - SCA Bindings TC convened by Mike Edwards of IBM;

DITA 1.1 becomes an OASIS Standard

Members have approved version 1.1 of the Darwin Information Typing Architecture
(DITA) as an OASIS Standard. DITA builds content reuse into the authoring
process, defining an XML architecture for designing, writing, managing, and
publishing many kinds of information in print and on the Web. Congratulations
to DITA TC chair, Don Day of IBM, and to all TC members for this
accomplishment.
