Nominations for TAB Special Election now open

OASIS Members,

Nominations for candidates in a Special Election to fill one seat on the
Technical Advisory Board are being accepted through 30 November 2007.

The seat recently vacated by the resignation of Madhav Vodnala, Fiorano
Software, is available for nomination and election.  The winner of this
election will hold the seat until the 2009 Annual Election.

The OASIS TAB identifies opportunities and areas for standardization within
OASIS that are beneficial for the entire community. TAB members advise the
OASIS Board of Directors on the OASIS technical agenda and on
interoperability and alignment issues, and encourage the formation of joint
committees to address those issues. The TAB seeks convergence and the
elimination of barriers to interoperability and advises on coordination of
OASIS work with that of other standards-setting bodies.
