2009 Board and TAB Election Results

Members,

 

OASIS is pleased to announce the results of the 2009 elections for the Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Board.

 

Dave Ings of IBM and Paul Lipton of CA were elected, Peter Brown of Pensive, Mike DeNicola of Fujitsu, and Eduardo Gutentag of Sun Microsystems were reelected to the Board of Directors. These newly elected directors will begin their two-year terms at the Board meeting on 31 July 2009.  This meeting will be open to members, so you may meet your new Board members.  Watch for details as they become available.

                       

Martin Chapman of Oracle, William Cox, and Patrick Durusau were reelected to the Technical Advisory Board. Their new terms will start with the TAB meeting on 30 July 2009.

 

The Consortium also would like to express our deepest appreciation to departing Board members, Michael Winters of IBM, who has served on the Board since 2001, and Claus von Riegen of SAP, who has served on the Board since 2005.

 

Finally, we offer our thanks to all OASIS members who participated in the 2009 election process--by nominating candidates, volunteering to serve, evaluating candidates, and casting ballots. OASIS continues to be distinguished by our open election process, our member participation, and the quality of our leadership.
