The meeting will be held 20 and 21 Apr via webinar. All OASIS members are strongly encouraged to attend this event. Advance registration is required for webinar access. https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/323823265 ----------------------------------------------------------- Nominations open for OASIS Distinguished Contributor Awards All OASIS members are eligible and invited to submit nominations by 16 Apr. The final selection will be made by staff and announced at the AGM webinars on 20 and 21 Apr. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/201004/msg00003.html ----------------------------------------------------------- Members elect Claus von Riegen to OASIS Board of Directors Claus von Riegen of SAP was selected by the members to complete the resigned term of Eduardo Gutentag which extends to July 2011. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/201004/msg00004.html ----------------------------------------------------------- OASIS Standard vote for CMIS opens soon Balloting for the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) 1.0 specification will be held 16-30 Apr. CMIS enables information to be shared across enterprise content management repositories from different vendors. The specification was developed by representatives of OASIS Foundational Sponsors, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle, as well as Adobe, Alfresco, ASG, Booz Allen Hamilton, dotCMS, EMC, fme AG, Liferay, Nuxeo, Open Text, SAP, Saperion, WeWebU, and others. All organizational members of OASIS are encouraged to vote on CMIS. Those who wish to discuss the ballot may do so via oasis-member-discuss@lists.oasis-open.org. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/201004/msg00000.html ----------------------------------------------------------- Identity in the Cloud TC forms All interested parties are invited to participate in the new OASIS Identity in the Cloud (IDCloud) Technical Committee. This group will work to identify gaps in existing identity management standards and investigate the need for profiles to achieve interoperability within current standards. It will perform risk and threat analyses on collected use cases and produce guidelines for mitigating vulnerabilities. The IDCloud TC will operate under the Royalty Free on Limited Terms mode of the OASIS IPR Policy. TC proposers include representatives of OASIS Foundational Sponsors, IBM and Microsoft, as well as CA, Red Hat, SafeNet, Skyworth TTG, Novell, and others. Abbie Barbir is the convener. A TC chair or two co-chairs will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held 23 Apr by teleconference.
