Members propose FFM TC

All interested parties are asked to review and comment on a draft
charter to establish the OASIS Field Force Management Technical
Committee. FFM intends to address the data use and integration
challenges faced by enterprises that deploy large field staffs to
deliver services to customers. The project proposes to define a
standard integration interface that will be used for relaying field
work requests between centralized planning and field communication
systems. Thinh Nguyenphu of Nokia Siemens Networks serves as the
convener. The member comment period for this draft charter closes 12
May.

Board of Directors candidates should be senior-level executives able
to provide guidance and oversight for the consortium. TAB nominees
should possess technical expertise to assist in improving the
standards development process. All candidates must accept their
nominations in writing by 12 May.
