Subject: OASIS News: 16 April 2013

Welcome to OASIS News, a bi-weekly update of announcements,

accomplishments, and activities for the international open standards consortium.

Members submit questions for Board candidates

In advance of the upcoming elections for OASIS Board of Directors, members are asked to suggest questions for candidates on issues regarding the management and direction of the Consortium. Staff will compile and summarize the questions and provide an anonymous, representative sample to all candidates. Their responses will be posted online. Questions must be received by 3 May.

OASIS Standard vote opens for TGF

Balloting for the Transformational Government Framework (TGF) V1.0 is now underway and will close 25 Apr. TGF is a practical, “how to” standard for implementing an effective program of technology-enabled change at national, state or local government levels. The specification was developed by representatives of OASIS Foundational Sponsor, Microsoft, as well as Oracle, Belgian SPF Finances, and others. All organizational members of OASIS are encouraged to vote on TGF; those who wish to discuss the ballot may do so through oasis-member-discuss@lists.oasis-open.org.
