The 2013 election schedule and has been posted.[1]  This year,  five
Board of Director seats and two seats on the Technical Advisory Board
are open for election.

OASIS boards are filled by nominations and voting of OASIS members.  I
encourage all members to review the qualifications posted and what
factors are important to you in selecting your leadership.  Consider
who you would nominate, and if you would serve if nominated.

While few members can serve on the board, all members have a role in
selecting board members and influencing the board agenda.  Last year,
member questions [2] regarding the Committee Note process were an
important part of the dialogue that led to revisions to the TC Process
that greatly simplified the Committee Note process. [3]
