The XML Interchange Language (XMILE) TC will integrate system dynamics models and simulations into mainstream analytics software. XMILE will enable SD models to be reused with Big Data sets to show how different policies produce different outcomes in complex environments. Models will be stored in cloud-based libraries, shared within and between organizations, and used to communicate different outcomes with common vocabulary. TC proposers include Foundational Sponsor, IBM, and others. Karim Chichakly of isee systems serves as the convener; the TC chair(s) will be elected at the first meeting, which will be held at the Int’l System Dynamics Conference, 24 Jul, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. All interested parties are invited to participate; contact join@oasis-open.org for details.

"At OASIS, you don't have to be a large vendor to influence work. Of all the standards bodies we’ve participated in, OASIS is the only one we recommend with no hesitation. It is a group that simply works."
