OASIS Members,
We are pleased to announce the approval and publication of a new Committee Specification by the members of the OASIS SOA Repository Artifact Model and Protocol (S-RAMP) TC:
S-RAMP Version 1.0
Committee Specification 01
23 December 2013
Overview:
The specification defines a SOA artifact data model together with bindings that describe a syntax for interacting with a SOA repository. Vendors offer tools to facilitate various activities across the life cycle of a SOA artifact, such as design, assembly, quality assurance, deployment and runtime operation. The lack of a standardized information model and interaction protocol for artifacts and metadata residing in a SOA repository has meant that tools have to be customized for each different product. This has reduced choice, flexibility and added costs for customers. S-RAMP is intended to address these problems.

Members of the SOA Repository Artifact Model and Protocol (S-RAMP) TC [1] requested a Special Majority Vote to approve this specification with Non-Material Changes as a Committee Specification. The specification had been released for public review as required by the TC Process [2]. The vote to approve as a Committee Specification passed [3], and the approved CS01 is now available online in the OASIS Library as referenced above.
Our congratulations to the TC on achieving this milestone.
