Subject: Resources for JIRA added to the TC Administration homepage
OASIS members,
In preparation for the move up to the latest release of JIRA this weekend, I have created a new JIRA Resources section on the TC Administration homepage (https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tcadmin).
Under JIRA Resources in the upper left hand column, you will find:
- Introducing the new JIRA. This brief PDF displays current and new JIRA screens side-by-side to orient you to the new view you will see starting Monday.
- Using JIRA for Standards Development. This slide show summarizes how we have set up JIRA for standards development work at OASIS and explains how you can get started using it for your project. It also gives a few pointers on why you might want to use JIRA in your work.
- JIRA Quick Start Guide. This is a link to the Atlassian quick start documentation. It includes a number of short videos demonstrating various aspects of using JIRA.
- Intro to JIRA 101. This is a link to the Atlassian documentation page. JIRA 101 goes into more detail on using the product.
- Atlassian JIRA User’s Guide. This is a link to the complete user’s guide on the Atlassian documentation page.
- Atlassian JIRA Documentation Page. This is a link to the main documentation page on the Atlassian web site.
As a reminder, we will be switching JIRA over this coming Sunday, March 16th. I will be testing the new version to ensure that your issues are all complete and in the same state that you left them before we make the change final.
