Subject: New & improved TC Admin support request forms

TC Chairs & OASIS members,

I am pleased to announce that the TC Administration Requests page (https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tc-admin-requests) that you use to request support from OASIS staff has been overhauled. It is aligned with the current TC Process and forms have been significantly simplified.

- Forms now follow the workflow of the TC process, from starting new work through publishing approved TC documents. You can use the page as a roadmap for the steps that you take as you move work along.

- Most forms are markedly simpler. For many, aside from the identifying information about you and the TC, all you will need to provide is the link to your minutes or ballot approving the request. We'll take the information we need from your motion. (But make sure your motion or ballot has everything we need; use the sample motion/ballot language at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/53768 if you are unsure.)

And if you approve publishing your Committee Specification Draft and releasing it for public review in one meeting, now you can make that request with just one ticket. Enter the request for the public review and pick the choice that requests both.

- I have added requests that have been needed for some time, such as requesting a wiki for your TC or requesting a Special Majority Vote to approve submitting your OASIS Standard to an international de jure standards organization. I will be adding a few more this week and if you find some missing, let me know so that I can add them as well.

In addition, I have supplemented the forms with links to explanatory information in case you need more background or explanation.

Please let me know if you have any questions on using the new forms or if you have ideas for additional improvements. I hope this new set of forms will help guide your specifications through the OASIS process smoothly.

Best regards,
