OASIS is pleased to announce the winners of the second annual Open Standards Cup.
This year's Outstanding Accomplished TC award* goes to the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) TC, chaired by Saikat Saha of Oracle and Tony Cox of Cryptsoft with Robert Lockhart of Thales e-Security as Secretary.
"After
launching under a new, expanded charter in 2014, the KMIP TC organized
and drove 11 specification documents all the way to OASIS
Standards. They have also published Committee Notes for interoperability
test cases and a usage guide. They also played a
central role in the OASIS Interop at the RSA 2015 conference."
The Outstanding New TC award* goes to the Context Server (CXS) TC, chaired by Thomas Sigdestad of Enonic and Serge Huber of Jahia.
"CXS
launched in April 2015 to create specifications for a "Context Server,"
a core technology to enable organizations to provide consistent
personalized web experiences across channels, markets, and systems. The
TC was announced with 10 proposers and 4 organizational members
represented and it currently has 19 members on its roster. CXS is
very active, thanks to the energetic leadership of its co-chairs.
The TC has an affiliated open source project that they plan to
contribute to Apache in the future and work is underway on the draft
specification contributed. They have released several video
presentations on Youtube and they are working on use cases and other
documents."
Finalists in the Outstanding New TC category:
- Content Management Interoperability Services for Digital Asset Management (CMIS4DAM) TC
- Identity Based Attestation and Open Exchange Protocol Specification (IBOPS) TC
Congratulations to all the KMIP and CXS TC participants on their outstanding accomplishments.

*To qualify for the Outstanding
Accomplished TC award, a TC must have had an approved OASIS
Standard or an OASIS Standard approved as an international standard
between May 2014-May 2015.
**To qualify for the Outstanding New TC award, a TC must have held its first meeting between May 2014-May 2015.
