OASIS is please to announce the results of this year's Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Board elections.
Board candidates Beth Pumo of Kaiser Permanente and Bruce Rich of Cryptsoft were elected and Martin Chapman of Oracle, Jenny Huang of AT&T, and Dave Ings of IBM were reelected to serve from July 2017 through July 2019.
They join continuing board members Frederick Hirsch of Fujitsu, Independent member Gershon Janssen, Ram Jeyaraman of Microsoft, Dawn Jutla of Sobey School of Business and Paul Lipton of CA Technologies, and Monica Palmirani of University of Bologna, School of Law.
TAB Candidate Stefan Hagen was elected; Patrick Durusau and Kevin Mangold of NIST were reelected to join continuing member Jacques Durand of Fujitsu.
All elected candidates will be formally seated at their respective face-to-meetings 26-28 July in Burlington, MA USA.
The consortium extends its deepest appreciation to outgoing board member Peter Brown for his decade of board service and to Sanjay Patil who has served the board since 2011. Both were important and consistent contributors to OASIS leadership as the consortium to continues to evolve. The consortium also thanks Ashok Malhotra for his 4 years of exemplary service to the TAB.
Most importantly, we thank all candidates and members who participated in the election process. The consortium, staff, all members and stakeholders benefit from this process through the outstanding and evolving member-selected leadership it provides.
