Subject: Deadline Correction: OASIS Special Election

The nomination and election process is shown in detail at https://www.oasis-open.org/board/election-process The candidate receiving the most votes when the ballot closes (26 January) will win the seat and will join the Board in its next teleconference (30 January). This seat expires July 2018 and will be eligible for reelection as part of the normal annual elections.The consortium thanks Ram Jeyaraman for his many years of participation and leadership. Ram's noteworthy contributions as member and TC Chair since 2005 were cause for his designation as an OASIS Distinguished Contributor in 2014. His significant board service started in 2015 and provided a strong positive influence in the growth of OASIS as we evolve to meet the needs of tomorrow every day.
