Call for Nominations for OASIS Distinguished Contributors

OASIS is seeking your input, in the form of a nomination for the Distinguished Contributor Award.

Each year we recognize a member or members who have made extraordinary contributions to the OASIS world of standards development and adoption.  We are lucky to have a robust, active and very smart membership who have contributed so much to make OASIS successful. And among all that hard work, we know there are some members whose contributions are outstanding.  Some are already identified as Distinguished Contributors, some are waiting for your nomination.

So, please take a moment to review the qualifications and list of existing Distinguished Contributors [1] and nominate someone you believe should receive the honor.  Send your nomination and a brief message describing their qualifications to member-services@oasis-open.org.  Nominations received before 30 June will be considered for this year's award.  All nominations previously received (I.E. last year) remain in consideration, so you need not repeat them unless you want to.

The Distinguished Contributor Award will be presented at the OASIS Member Reception on 18 July at the OASIS offices in Burlington, MA USA  Attendance is free, your preregistration by email to member-services@oasis-open.org is required.  A good time will be had by all attendees, so make sure that includes you.
