It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the Board of Directors announces Laurent Lisciaâs departure as CEO and Executive Director of OASIS, effective March 31, 2019. Since 2008, Laurent has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization.Â
During his tenure, OASIS started many new initiatives to benefit members, including an update to the infrastructure and new offerings such as Open Projects. The strategy we created to launch Open Projects, a combination of open source and standards under the same roof, is now starting to bear fruit. During this period OASIS has enjoyed a decade of stability and healthy finances.
The Board of Directors and Staff want to express their appreciation to Laurent for his years of dedicated service to the consortium, and the many significant accomplishments in that time. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Over the next few months the Board will work on the transition needed due to Laurentâs departure. As Chairman of the Board, I will serve as interim President for the consortium during this transition period. Please address any and all questions to me during this interim period.
