Dear Members,

OASIS is seeking your input, in the form of a nomination for theÂDistinguishedÂContributorÂAward.

Each year we recognize a member or members who have made extraordinary contributions to the OASIS world of standards and open source development. We are lucky to have a robust, active and very smart membership whoÂhave contributed so much to makeÂOASIS successful. And among all that hard work, we know there are some members whose contributions are outstanding. Some are already identified asÂDistinguishedÂContributors, some are waiting for your nomination.

So, please take a moment to review the qualifications and list ofÂexistingÂDistinguishedÂContributors Â[1] and nominate someone youÂbelieve should receive the honor. Send your nomination and a briefÂmessage describing their qualifications to jane.harnad@oasis-open.org. Deadline for nominations is 13 December 2022.

TheÂDistinguishedÂContributorÂAward(s) will be presented at the OASIS Awards Ceremony in January 2023. Details on the virtual event to follow.ÂÂ
