Subject: RE: [mgmtprotocol] Requirements
All,
During the call, I expressed a view that the scope
of the Management Protocol was not clear.
I still believe this is
the case.
Is this to be a "manage everything, by anyone/anything"
initiative - i.e. a standard mechanism which can be used to manage any
manageable object, from servers and routers to business process instances, with
the end results being usable by anyone from IT specialists to business managers
and CEOs, or is it to be constrained in some way?
If we can all agree an
answer to this, we will have a key requirement defined.
