Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (MQTT-342) Maximum Packet Size - value to be sent [set] to zero and more

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-342?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=65150#comment-65150 ]

Ed Briggs commented on MQTT-342:
--------------------------------

We might consider what action an implementation might take upon receiving these obviously out of range values. If we remove these admittedly strange values, the behavior is totally undefined. Is non-normative text sufficient to move it out of 'totally undefined'?
