Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (MQTT-353) Long discussion on Sessions in Session Expiry Interval

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-353?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=65231#comment-65231 ]

Rahul Gupta commented on MQTT-353:
----------------------------------

There is a long discussion on session and sessions state in Sessions Expiry Interval. I have reviewed the text and considering that it contains normative text it is difficult to move in the chapter 1 terminlogy section. What I have done is that added a sub section (Session State) under session expiry interval to handle the statements for session and session state.

> The Session Expiry Interval section (946) feels like it's interrupted with a long introduction to Sessions starting around line 960.
> I feel like the text should be limited to the impact of the interval on session. The background details on Sessions could be moved earlier - perhaps to
> 396 Session:
