Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (MQTT-440) Names in Appendix a should be in normal format

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-440?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=66541#comment-66541 ]

Stefan Hagen commented on MQTT-440:
-----------------------------------

I think best fit would be instead:

Alex Kritikos (Software AG, Inc.)
Allan Stockdill-Mander (IBM)
Andrew Schofield (IBM)
Brian Raymor (Microsoft)
David Horton (Solace Systems)
Derek Fu (IBM)
Dominik Obermaier (dc-square GmbH)
Dr. Andrew Banks (IBM)
Dr. Andy Stanford-Clark (IBM)
Ed Briggs (Microsoft)
Joe Speed (IBM)
Jonathan Levell (IBM)
Ken Borgendale (IBM)
Konstantin Dotchkoff (Microsoft)
Nick O'Leary (IBM)
Peter Niblett (IBM)
Rahul Gupta (IBM)
Raphael Cohn (Individual)
Richard Coppen (IBM)
Senthil Nathan Balasubramaniam (Infiswift)
Shawn McAllister (Solace Systems)
Stefan Hagen (Individual)
Stefan Vaillant (Cumulocity)
Tobias Sommer (Cumulocity)
William Cox (Individual)
William McLane (TIBCO Software Inc.)

We 1) communicate in our TC business by first (given) name, 2) the usual chair, editor name sequence is given then family then affiliation, and 3) given names are much more stable (e.g. my family name - just as a sample - changed the third time a few years ago ;-) - at OASIS we conduct the work as individuals with various affiliations, so we could really sort that way.

But in any case, please not list the people as Family, Given (Affiliation) that reads between awkward and backwards in my perception.

> The names in Appendix A are now collated by sir-name which is the normal name collation for European cultures. However, they were also changed to be in sir-name, given-name orger which is not the standard name format in these cultures.
> We should change the names to givenname sirname order.
