Subject: 3.1 and malformed packets
Hello all, When using 3.1, my interpretation of the spec is that the only possible CONNECT packet byte 1 is 00010000 (Connect ID& reserved values not used). If a broker receives a CONNECT packet with any of the reserved bits set to 1, should it not treat it as a malformed packet and reject it? Many thanks, Alex Kritikos
